Entrepreneurial training in taxi transport
To apply for a taxi licence, the person responsible for transport must have completed 21 hours of training as a taxi entrepreneur and have passed the entrepreneur test with the required number of points.
Special needs taxi driver course
Special Group Driver Training offers you a unique opportunity to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to operate efficiently and safely in transporting special groups. These include, among others, KELA, SHL, and municipal transports
Taxi transport license
In the basic training for taxi drivers, we cover 12 different areas, which together form a comprehensive knowledge base to prepare you for obtaining the Taxi Driver's Professional Driving Permit. Annually, we train approximately 300-450 taxi drivers for the industry.

Apprenticeship
At the Taksiopisto, you can also complete the taxi driver professional training through an apprenticeship. For more information about the apprenticeship program, please visit our office. Come to us, and let's discuss your goals so we can create a learning plan that will take you far.
Course steps
1. Perusopetuksessa opetamme asiat yksitellen huolellisesti läpikäyden.
2. Toisessa vaiheessa sovellutamme oppimamme taksitoimintaan ja rakennamme teorian pohjalta sopivat aihealueet käytäntöön.
3. Kolmannessa vaiheessa yhdistämme kokonaisuudet, jotta olemme valmiita Trafin kokeeseen.
Teaching language
Liikenteen turvallisuusvirasto Trafin kokeet järjestetään suomen ja ruotsin kielellä.
Pääkaupunkiseudun taksiopisto opettaa teoriaa myös muilla kielillä, jotta opetukseen tuleva henkilö ymmärtää taksinkuljettajan vastuisiin ja velvollisuuksiin liittyvät vaatimuksen oikein.
